Denise Giacchi has started expressing herself in figurative art for some years now preferring female figures, which can be seductive at times but ‘embedded’ in an emaciated body at others. The female figure is, however, a simple choice of expression having the aim of conveying a message. She has taken part in several group and personal exhibitions. Since a few years she has shifted her attention on Street Art and during the past year she has participated in a Redevelopment Project in a subway at Milan Railway Station and at the ‘Urban Contest’ Street Art Festival in Rome. The works are mainly carried out with spray and acrylic paint. ‘I love Street Art because it is short-lived, appealing, cumbersome, pop and makes your hands very dirty’.
